| if you can do a clutch job, you can do the swap. tricks: shoot transmission bolts from behind transmission with a long extension when putting in the clutch pedal assembly under the dashboard, undo the bolts so you can freely manipulate it, but the whole assembly must go in at once, and won't go easily if still tightly bolted up. there is a block off plate for the clutch. you absolutely can just knock it out, but its not pretty. If i had it to do again, i would have cleaned things up a bit before putting it together. like actually masked off the area, sanded down the adhessive from the plate and then rattlecan of oem paint painted the spot.
